Dec. 26th Prompt: Soul food. What did you eat this year that you will never forget? What went into your mouth & touched your soul? via Elise Marie Collins.

Fish Amok at Lazy Beach. By far, the best I’ve tasted in Cambodia.

Our housekeeper’s Khmer Curry.

Beef Loc Lac at Khmer Kitchen.

The ribs at Yumi. Swoon.

Bai Cha, or Cambodian Fried Rice.

Pad Thai in Thailand.

Paneer Korma at Maharajah.

Joellen’s Seafood Risotto, which fed 18 people crammed around a dinner table on our roof.

Gluten-free pizza and breadsticks at Risotteria. One of the highlights of my trip home in July.
