Week 9 & 10 Digest
♥ spent last sunday and today at the golden banana. it truly is the best way to end a week and prepare for a new one. sitting in or by the pool while reading, chatting and drinking the most amazing iced lime tea. i’m telling you, this iced lime tea is a dream come true.
♥ i finished the russian concubine, a great novel, and am desperate to read the sequel. i also started the sookie stackhouse series (the inspiration for true blood) and it is addictive. i’m on the fourth book.
♥ discovered the joy that is angkor what bar. loads and loads of dancing.
♥ our kittens are growing each day. they’re walking around now, but there was a phase when they looked like drunk gremlins wobbling about. the runt is my favorite. she’s adorable.
♥ took my laptop to get serviced. essentially they open it up, clean all the dust out then put it back together. it’s running much better now. have i mentioned the dust before? it’s everywhere. have to sweep every day and most people water their front yards (i hesitate to say lawn since it’s just dirt) creating a muddy mess because it keeps the dirt from becoming dust.
♥ i’m working on a graphic design project for my friend jam who is opening an art gallery and cafe. i’m doing a poster and invitation for the opening art show. pretty exciting!
♥ realized that what i really want from home are neosporin, immodium, bare minerals foundation, secret deoderant, a crest spinbrush, + leggings. then immediately felt lame about that list.
♥ attended my second opening at the arts lounge at hotel de la paix. clouds by srey bandol was awesome.
♥ it got pretty hot last week and i realized i might not be as well acclimated to the weather as i had thought. i felt so sluggish and clammy! gross.
